Ceremonies

As per Italian traditional regulations, civil weddings can only be held at City Halls. Fortunately, many municipalities are hosted in beautiful antique Palazzos, and some even offer unique locations like castles or the beach for your ceremony.

Our region offers many beautiful antique churches for those who prefer a religious service.

Of course, we are at your disposal to help you organize symbolic commitment and vow renewal ceremonies, at your reception venue or in other suggestive locations.

Religious ceremony

In Venice it is possible to celebrate Catholic, Orthodox and Hebraic religious weddings. It is also possible to officiate a marriage according to the Armenian religious rite at the San Lazzaro island in Venice. 

Civil ceremony

Getting married in Venice according to the civil rite is possible only at Palazzo Cavalli and Ca' Vendramin Calergi, which are institutional (yet beautiful) locations. At the present time some Italian local municipalities are changing the rule, allowing bride and groom to get married also on beaches and private gardens or villas. This needs to be checked from time to time, depending on the region of interest chosen for the ceremony.

Symbolic wedding

If the bride and groom's wish is to renew their promises and have a symbolic ceremony, they can choose among a virtually endless range of settings as this kind of rite can take place almost anywhere.
