DAY 1

The taggiasca olive and olive oil from Liguria, flowers and Italian songs in Sanremo and Imperia

After a continental breakfast excursion to San Remo, the pearl of the Riviera and the famous seaside resort, also known for the production of flowers, the Casino and the Festival of Italian Song. DAY 2

Truffle hunt 

Transfer to Barolo, on the lush vine-clad hills of the Langhe and Roero, the visit includes castles and churches, and the land of Marchesi di Barolo, their underground cellars and unique collection of Italian wine. After a light dinner transfer to La Morra, passing along a panoramic street with view over vineyards surrounding the village. The tour continues with a truffle hunt in the woods with a real truffle hunter and his dog. Final tasting of some truffle specialties. Return to the hotel, relax and dinner, playing a typical game, during which guests will be involved in a lesson of wine tasting, learning also the rules of matching Italian food and wine. DAY 3

Spumante and grappa

After breakfast transfer to Canelli, a UNESCO world heritage site for its beautiful vine-clad hills and underground cathedrals of wine. Transfer to Valenza to meet a master goldsmith in his workshop and learn the techniques of exclusive jewelery design. DAY 4

Reggia di Venaria and the real Turin

After breakfast, visit to the recently restored magnificent Royal Palace of Venaria, its lush Italian gardens and its stables. Transfer to Turin for light lunch in a local restaurant with a menu that focuses on local products and wine. 

City tour in the afternoon, stop at the Cathedral and its sacred " Shroud ", the cloth that wrapped the body of Christ; visit to the "Mole", from which it is possible to explore the Roman plant of the city and visit to the National Museum of Cinema. Transfer to the airport.

 

Alternative option
The plain of the Po and the rice fields of Vercelli

After breakfast and check out, transfer to Vercelli, stopping by the Rice Mill, where the visitors can learn the techniques of Italian rice cultivation. Lunch with a typical menu in a restaurant owned by the Vercelli rice mill. Stop at a small firm producing accordions or at company "Sambonet", that produces kitchenware and homeware.
