A Dinner in costume in the historic hall of the Ridotto, located in the hotel Monaco&Grand Canal very near St Mark Square. A Dance Master with his partner will lead the group dances throughout the evening and an opera singer will delight the guests between the different dances on the live music of a baroque ensemble.
The seated dinner comprehends a four-course menu with wine included. The guests will be welcomed by a cocktail.

A Dance Master with his partner will lead the group dances throughout the evening on the live music of a baroque ensemble. The seated dinner includes a four-course menu with wine, created by the chef of the Danieli hotel.

The sweet event of the Venice Carnival in Costume® held in a typical campiello (small square) - covered by a glass rooftop - of the hotel Splendid Venice. The guests will enjoy hot chocolate and Venetian biscuits in a festive atmosphere. A classical trio will accompany the Dance Master and his partner during their dance lesson. The guests will learn the basic steps of period dances and they will be able to replicate them easily.

An afternoon with friends having fun learning the basic steps of group dances from the 1700s taught by our Dance teachers on the music of a trio of classical musicians. Hot chocolate and Venetian pastry will be served in the Ridotto Hall of the historic Palazzo Dandolo, today part of the hotel Monaco, located near the Harry's Bar and St. Mark Square.

The Ballo Tiepolo® holds all the sophistication, splendour and magic of the carnival balls of the Eighteenth Century. As tradition, the Grand Ball takes place on Fat Thursday at the Pisani Moretta palace, located on the Grand Canal. The architectural importance of the façade, framed by the splendid Gothic mullioned windows of the two main floors, conceals wonderfully elaborate Baroque decorations inside with the works of the most outstanding Venetian artists of the 18th Century such as Giambattista Tiepolo, Jacopo Guarana, Gaspare Diziani and Giuseppe Angeli.
The guests, upon their arrival, will be welcomed with drinks and appetizers on the ground floor, and then they will be guided to the noble floor to enjoy the seated dinner with a menu created by our Michelin star chef. When making the reservation it's possible to choose between the regular menu of fish and the vegetarian option. In case of food intolerances, the chef will create an alternative menu.
Throughout the evening the baroque orchestra will play and entertain the guests along with the opera singers and the Dance Masters, who will teach the basic steps of the period group dances to the guests. Moreover, acrobats, actors of the Comedy of Art and other performers will move through the different rooms of the first floor to surprise the guests during dinner.
After midnight, an absolute new feature for 2018, the Grand Ball of Period Dances will continue on the ground floor with a second music ensemble and under the guide of the Dance Masters. Between the dances the guests will enjoy some coffee/hot chocolate, Venetian sweets and Prosecco wine.

In the Hall of the Ridotto, heart of the extravagant carnivals of the 18th century where nobles, gamblers and adventurers such as Giacomo Casanova were regular, it will take place the most elegant party of the Carnival of Venice. When the guests arrive, they will enjoy a rich welcome cocktail and then the five-course dinner will be served to their tables (wines included) in a magical atmosphere with several appearances created by wonderful Venetian costumes and the best artists. During and after dinner it will take place the Grand Ball led by the Dance Master on the live music of a classical ensemble: a unique experience which combines amusement, elegance, and participation.

The closing event of the Venice Carnival in Costume® 2017. In the campiello (small square) - covered by a glass rooftop - of the hotel Splendid Venice a classical trio will accompany the Dance Master and his partner during their dance lesson. The guests will learn the basic steps of the period dances and they will be able to replicate them easily, taking home with them a magic memory of the Venice carnival. The guests will enjoy hot chocolate and Venetian biscuits in a festive atmosphere, and then they'll be able to continue the festivities by watching the spectacular "Svolo del Leon" from the bell tower in St. Mark square, only a short walk from the hotel.
