BACARO TOUR

Meet with a local guide and proceed to see unknown and charming sites of Venice, to taste the pleasure of venturing through Calli and Campielli, away the beaten track, where time seems to have stopped centuries ago. The guide will introduce to some of this few existing old “osterie”, which in Venice from early 19th century have been known as “Bacari”. “Bacaro”, with its long wooden table and handmade wooden chairs, is a relaxing and entertaining place to enjoy yourself and have a good gossip with friend. You can have the occasion to drink a glass of sparkling prosecco or excellent red wine and to taste a few “cicheti”, light Venetian style savouries: baccala’ with polenta, sarde in saor or roast cuttlefish, boiled eggs and excellent cheese…
This kind of tour, arranged for example from 11.00 to 13.00 with 2 stops (or more…) can easily replace lunch ! At the end of the tour the gondola will wait for you!
